How can I get it work?!?


You feel that Ganttic is not acting as you expected. Many issues can be fixed easily. Please go through following steps to find and fix the problem.

1. Update your browser or try a different one

Ganttic is tested on following browsers Internet Explorer 8 and 9, Firefox 3.6+, Google Chrome 10+ and Apple's Safari 5. Please make sure that your browser is up-to-date.

2. Clear your browsers cache

Sometimes problems are caused by the old version of Ganttic saved in browsers cache. We might have the new version up and when you load it they may conflict with the old version in the browsers cache. As a result Ganttic might act strange. Follow these instructions to clear the cache

3. Update Adobe Flash player

Ganttic is using Adobe Flash player to work. If the Flash Player is missing or out of date you can get / update it by visiting http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

4. Check your internet connection

As Ganttic updates the data between your computer and database in our server in real time, it needs a stable internet connection. If you are on WiFi or using mobile internet, temporary connectivity problems might occur. Try to load some other sites to check if Ganttic is only site experiencing problems. If you have lost connection for a short moment, you'll have to reload the application.

5. Are you trying to do something what Ganttic is not capable of doing?

Often users are expecting some features from Ganttic which are not implemented yet or never ment to be built in. Please read through our manual to find out what Ganttic actually does.

6. Do things in right order

Like in most software packages, work in Ganttic is effective if you do things in certain order. Task can not be assigned to project which is yet to be created. Dropdown menus might be empty if you havent added the field values yet.

7. If you can't print your plan or reports

You will need to make sure your pop-up blocker is turned off, or allow pop-ups for app.ganttic.com. For viewing pdf reports your browser must have Adobe Reader plugin. This article will show you how to fix it.

8. If you can't log in

Reset your password by going to www.ganttic.com/forgot-password
