Projects

Granting Ganttic is based on resource planning, Projects are still probably the reason you are planning the Resources. If Resources are the force that rotates the Rubik's cube, and Tasks are the squares on it, Projects are the whole cube. Since you are probably a Project manager, we won't go into depths to explain what Projects are. Although, what Projects aren't, is hovering over the cat all the time, Carl.

Like Rubik's cubes are made of little squares, Projects are built up with Tasks. However, you can add Projects to Ganttic's planner first, and then add Tasks to them. Or, you can add a Task first, and connect a Project to it afterward. Or, those who are doing high-level Project planning in the long or short term, can simply schedule the Tasks as Projects and ignore the Task level (Task title field) completely.
